Since the Great Society programs started, we have provided profound disincentives to people on the right-hand side of the bell curve to have children while simultaneously creating large incentives for people on the left side of that curve. It’s the people on the right side of those curves who are the ones that end up being successful and therefore paying taxes, and, as a result, they’re the ones that drive the economy. This week on Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio, our guest Karl Denninger talks with your host Dennis Tubbergen about how these programs are culminating in what Denninger calls a Demographic Disaster.
Mr. Karl Denninger is an American technology businessman, finance blogger, author, and political activist, sometimes referred to as a founding member of the Tea Party movement. Mr. Denninger is the author of the book Leverage: How Cheap Money Will Destroy the World. In the book, Denninger presents an inside look at how moneyed and powerful interests debase the dollar through the willful and intentional failure to honestly represent short and long-term mathematical truths that underlie all economic systems.
“The next few years is when people wake up to the idea that oil is actually structurally in very short supply. And because of that, I think we’re going to have to get ready for 100, 200, $300 a barrel oil.” Our guest this week on Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio is Dr. Chris Martenson. He talks with your host, Dennis Tubbergen, about the three E’s; Economy, Energy, and Environment, and his forecast for the future in these key areas. The whole system needs to continue as it has for the last 40-50 years, but that’s just not possible… What comes next?
Dr. Chris Martenson is the author of the book The Crash Course, which, while written quite a few years ago, prophesized what’s playing out today. More recently, he co-authored the book “Prosper” with Adam Taggart, with whom he also publishes the website PeakProsperity.com.

It’s going to be very difficult times. Inflation is going up for the next 30 years. And interest rates will be higher for the next 30 years. According to our guest this week on Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio, Dr.Charles Nenner. In his conversation with your host, Dennis Tubbergen, Nenner says, “you have to be very careful in these markets, and you have to know that it’s going to be very hard times, especially for millennials.”
Dr. Charles Nenner’s career is truly impressive: he earned a medical degree from the University of Amsterdam in 1984 prior to embarking on a long and distinguished career as a financial consultant, researcher, and analyst. He has worked for Windsor NY, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Rabobank International, and Ofek Securities in Tel Aviv.
